    Abstract
    In recent years the Forest Rights Act (2006) and the PESA (2014) have provided an enabling framework for tribal communities to exercise control over their surrounding natural resources and manage their community affairs through local self-government and direct, participatory democracy. Let us join to understand the new paradigms of governance and livelihoods generation experienced by tribal villages in Maharashtra. Dr. Milind Bokil is sociologist and eminent Marathi writer
