dc.description.abstract | Twentieth Convocation of the Institute was held on February 1, 2014. Prof. Erik Dietzenbacher, President, International Input-Output Association, was the Chief Guest. Four successful students were awarded Ph.D degree, 30 successful students from the 2011-2013 and 2010-2012 batches were awarded M.A. (Economics) degree, 44 successful students from the 2011-2013 batches were awarded M.A. (Financial Economics) degree and 29 successful students from the 2011-2013 batch were awarded M.A. (Agribusiness Economics) degree. Students' Achievements and Awards. Pandurangi Prize: Miss Parul Matharu, who secured first rank with an 'A+' grade in the M.A. (Economics) Examination, held in April 2013, was awarded the Pandurangi Prize. Late Professor M.V. Namjoshi Prize: Miss Parul Matharu, who secured first rank with an 'A+' grade in the M.A. (Economics) Examination, held in April 2013, was awarded the Late Professor M.V. Namjoshi Prize. R.M. Agnihotri Prize: Miss Parul Matharu was awarded R.M. Agnihotri Prize for securing the highest marks in the course Economics of Development. Prof. B.G. Bapat Prize: Miss Kanika Bhatnagar was awarded B.G. Bapat Prize for securing the highest marks in the course International Economics. The Allianz Global Foundation Scholarship for Meritorious Students: Prof. D.R. Gadgil prize awarded to Miss Mukta Pushkar Kanvinde, who secured first rank with an 'A+' grade in the M.A. (Financial Economics) examination. Prof. V. M. Dandekar prize awarded to Miss Simran Kaur, who secured first rank with an 'A+' grade in the M.A. (Agribusiness Economics) examination.
